Children can develop confidence, creativity and fitness in fun classes at JADA. The school teaches dance styles including jazz, tap, funk, contemporary, fairy ballet, musical theatre and more.
Julieanne is a qualified teacher with The Australian Academy of Theatrical and Ballet
Dancing Inc.
The school's optional exams are a great way of measuring progress.
Students are given the opportunity to shine and are regular performers at Pako Festa for the past 26 years, performing on stage and participating in the event's street parade. Students have also performed in Splash Dance, D for Dance, The Seaview Club, Beat Inc and at various fetes and festivals.
From the age of 5 Julieanne has studied a wide range of dance styles, including tap, jazz, character,
highland and theatrical. The Geelong Ballet Centre was where Julieanne studied classical with Peter
Dickinson & Anne Peterson before heading off to Melbourne to be assistant dance teacher to Barbara
Gleeson. Living and working overseas, Julieanne trained at the Pineapple Dance Studio London and taught
tap dancing in Iceland. Julieanne performed as a dancer with The Geelong Musical Comedy Company and
Geelong Lyric Theatre Society for many years, she then went on to choreograph shows for G.M.C.C, The
G.S.O.D.A Juniors, Medimime Productions, Ballarat Light Opera Theatre Company, Pink Fish Productions and
Clonard College.
